Admission to the BCA programme under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is open to candidates who have passed the intermediate examination of Bihar School Examination Board or equivalent examination offered by other approved Boards (CBSE/ICSE/other State Board) with at least 45% marks in aggregate at the qualifying examination with Mathematics or Statistics Admission to the first semester of the BCA programme shall be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate at the Common Admission Entrance Test (CAET) conducted by the University or marks obtained in +2 examinations as decided by the Academic Council of the University The Admission Entrance Test Booklet will consist of 100 multiple choice type questions.
